Fort Wayne’s largest open gaming tournament, The Works, is returning to the Electric Works this summer for its third year! Odyssey Esports is hosting another electric event in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 28th and 29th. The event will feature tournaments for the most popular fighting games like Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Super Smash Bros Melee, Street Fighter 6, & Rivals 2! This year, Odyssey expects to bring in 300 gamers from across the country to compete in and spectate these competitions.

Registration for those wanting to play in the event will be open until June 23rd. Spectators can purchase a pass at any time for $20 or $30 for a youth pass including a pass for their guardian. Super Smash Bros Ultimate finals will begin at 4pm on Sunday with full schedules available online. Gameplay will be streamed across multiple channels on Twitch for online spectators.

The venue will open at 9am on both days. Attendees can expect a full day of fun gameplay, intense competition, and a great community. Vendors within the venue will have a variety of products to enjoy, including custom controllers, keychains, and other gaming-themed items. The Electric Works also offers many quality food options, shops, and art from dozens of local artists for attendees to explore. The venue is located at 1020 Swinney Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46802, USA.

Since they began in 2022, Odyssey Esports has become a hub for eSports in Fort Wayne by providing quality gaming tournaments. Previous tournaments have brought in hundreds of players from all over the country. In 2025, Odyssey’s largest tournament, Afterburner, brought in over 500 attendees between players and spectators. The year before, The Works brought in over 200 attendees.

Odyssey also has consistent players competing in their weekly tournaments at their Fort Wayne location. Claim the Crown, the Super Smash Bros Ultimate weekly, has been successfully running for three years. Recently, Odyssey also began hosting rental parties for birthdays, LAN parties, bachelor getaways, and more! Offering Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 consoles, the lounge can be the hot spot for any gamer.
